Convert to PNG in bulk and keep existing transparency

Convert WebP, AVIF and other supported images to PNG, or optimize existing static PNGs at their original dimensions without lowering pixel quality.

Prepare transparent assets as PNG files

Convert transparent product assets, icons and screenshots when your workflow needs PNG. Existing transparency is retained; conversion does not remove a background or make an ordinary JPG transparent.

Optimize encoding while keeping the pixels

At original dimensions, static PNG optimization tries to store the same pixels more efficiently. If it cannot make the file smaller, the original is kept. Resizing changes pixels; conversion from other formats may increase size.

Read the privacy details

Images are processed without uploading the originals, and results are created as new files. The queue is temporary, so download what you need before leaving or refreshing.

Warning: refreshing clears all files in the current queue!Unsaved results will also be lost. Download them first. Original files on your device are unaffected.

Why compress product images?

Keep product details clear while reducing the wait to browse, add to cart and buy.

−90%

Fewer bytes to deliver

For example, reducing a 1 MB image to 100 KB cuts its size by about 90%. The browser has fewer bytes to download, which can reduce image loading time.

+8.4%

Conversion rate +8.4%, with potential for more sales

A Google-commissioned study by Deloitte and 55 observed an 8.4% relative increase in retail conversion rates when four speed metrics improved by 0.1 seconds on every page of the mobile shopping journey.

Milliseconds Make Millions, 2020 · 37 brand sites and over 30 million sessions.

A 90% smaller image does not mean a 90% faster page or a fixed conversion gain per second. The study measured site-wide speed improvements, not image compression alone. Check the published page and your store data to measure the benefit.

Common questions

Why compress a format that is already lossless?

The same pixels can be stored with different encoding. Static PNG optimization at original dimensions tries to reduce size without discarding pixel information. Already optimized files may not change; in that case the original is kept.

Does WebP to PNG improve quality?

No. It cannot restore detail already lost in the source. Conversion provides PNG output and retains existing transparency, but may increase file size.

Why is there no PNG quality slider?

PNG uses lossless encoding. Optimization at original dimensions does not lower pixel quality. You can set a longest-edge limit for smaller copies, but resizing changes pixels.

Downloads & saving

Where is my download after processing?

Normal mode generates results first. Then choose Download image or Download ZIP. A download request does not confirm a file is on disk; check your browser's download list. Authorized folder writes show Saved after completion.

What if my folder cannot be written to?

Writing to a folder needs browser support and your permission. Use browser downloads when folder access is unavailable. Original files are not overwritten.

Can I recover the queue after a refresh?

The queue lives in the current page session. Download the results before leaving; after a refresh, import the images again.

Will originals be overwritten?

No. Results use new filenames. Authorized folder writes also avoid replacing existing files with the same name.

Inputs & settings

What can I add to a batch?

Add up to 100 images, at most 20 MB each. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP are supported; GIF uses the first frame only. Batch settings are shared while each image keeps its proportions.

Can I target exactly 200 KB?

The tool uses format, quality and dimensions rather than a fixed byte target. Adjust settings based on the result; reduction varies between images.

Privacy & service

Are images uploaded or are cookies used?

Images are processed in your browser without uploading their contents to SellerImg. There are no analytics cookies; anonymous usage counts do not include image contents or filenames.

Do I need an account or payment?

Image processing and ZIP export are free. No account or subscription is needed.
